Our Welcome Home & First Night Essentials Kit provides comfort and stability during a child’s first moments in a new foster home; offering cozy items, essentials, and uplifting encouragement for both youth and caregivers. Items can include a cozy blanket, soft stuffed animal, pajamas, simple toiletries, toothbrush and toothpaste, socks, small duffel bag or suitcase, nightlight, shelf-stable snacks, comfort items (coloring book, journal, or sensory fidgets), calming activity (stress ball or small puzzle), handwritten encouragement card for caregivers. Canopy’s staff will distribute to Therapeutic Foster Care families.
